FanSided Radio To Premiere NBA Podcast

Steve Mitchell-US PRESSWIRE

With the NBA season tipping off tonight, we at FanSided Radio are excited to announce a new podcast. The FanSided NBA Podcast will debut tomorrow right here on FanSided Radio.  Director of the Fansided NBA Division Andrew Kennedy and Assistant Director Matt Shetler will host the weekly  hoops show.

The duo brings insight and analysis to the table, and also bring expertise on both conferences. Kennedy, who not only directs the NBA Division of FanSided, is also the editor of ThunderousIntentions.com, FanSided’s  Oklahoma City Thunder page. Shetler juggles being Assistant Director duties with being editor of BucketsOverBroadway.com, the New York Knicks site.

The FanSided NBA Podcast will cover all things NBA, and this season should give them plenty to talk about. The Lakers made moves, bringing point guard Steve Nash and center Dwight Howard into the mix. The Clippers added Lamar Odom and Chauncey Billips will return, giving Lob City a real chance in the Western Conference. Oklahoma City looks to return to the NBA Finals, only this time without 2011 Sixth Man of The Year James Hardin.

In the Eastern Conference, Miami is the favorite to repeat as champions. LeBron James and Dwayne Wade have a three point threat in Ray Allen, and the Celtics added Jason Terry. I would guess you will hear about their first showdown of the year on the show tomorrow.  Andrew Bynum was traded to Philadelphia, and the team will try to improve on last years successful season. The Chicago Bulls will get Derek Rose back from injury this season as they look to climb back to the top of the Eastern Conference. Indiana will begin the post “Larry Bird” era.

With a brand new season upon us, join Andrew Kennedy and Matt Shetler tomorrow for The FanSided NBA Podcast to get all of the updates and expert analysis from opening night.
