For the most part, the college football regular season is finished. There are still a few games remaining that are not conference championship games, but there is not any real significance to them.

Notre Dame took care of USC, and will play for a national title, and they deserve it. When a team can go undefeated playing a BCS conference talent, it should be rewarded. Now the only question left is if it will be Alabama or Georgia who play the Fighting Irish for the BCS Title. The two teams will play for the SEC Championship on Saturday.

Other conference championship games will take place next weekend and will shape who will play in the other BCS Bowl Games. The PAC 12 Championship Game will give us a rematch between UCLA and Stanford. The B1G Title will be on the line between Nebraska and Wisconsin. In the Big East, it’s a big mess. Four teams could share the championship. The ACC Championship comes down to Florida State and Georgia Tech. One more weekend for potential chaos, then everything will be settled.
