San Antonio Spurs Remain NBA's Best Team

With just under half of the season remaining, The San Antonio Spurs remain The NBA’s best team. Guard Tony Parker and his 21 points per night have led the way for the veteran Spurs. Tim Dunan has contributed with 17 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 blocks per game.Coach Greg Popovich has his team playing well despite several injuries throughout the season. The San Antonio Spurs are winners of four strait games and nine of their last ten games.

The Miami Heat are making a push for the top spot. LeBron James has been shooting lights out. The superstar is averaging 27 points per game and hitting over 50% of the shots he takes. Miami looks like the NBA Champions they were last season and might be playing at a higher level than the 2011-2012 squad.

The Oklahoma City Thunder are missing James Hardin and it shows. The club traded him away to create some cap space, which is understandable. The problem is they miss his energetic play off of the bench and by trading him they might have set themselves back in a quest for an NBA Championship. They are still one of the NBA’s best, coming in at number three.
