The Indiana Hoosiers are on a three week run as the number one team in the nation. The Hoosiers ended a 17 game losing streak at Michigan State, and guard Victor Oladipo finally became a household name after his performance.
Indiana only played one game last week, but it was enough of a statement for the team to showcase their ability to beat a big, physical team. They take on Illinois tomorrow night and look to avenge their loss to The Illini a few weeks back.
Former number two Miami lost their first game since Christmas, and fell in our rankings. The team had several close calls in previous games, and playing close to the edge finally caught up with them.
Michigan State, who looked like a national title contender before last Tuesday’s loss to The Indiana Hoosiers, lost their second strait game at the hands of a tough Ohio State squad.
Other teams makings statements in the past week were Michigan, who beat Illinois by 13 points on Sunday, and Florida who keeps on winning, and finds themselves in position at a #1 seed in The NCAA Tournament.
