The Onside Kick: Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox 2013 Previews

This week, Ricky, Dave, and Mark dive into the worlds of the NFL, the MLB, and college basketball.

First, the guys talk football. They discuss Joe Flacco’s new deal and how it relates to Tome Brady’s deal, who did and did not show up at the NFL Scouting Combine, and how do the Kansas City Chiefs look with Alex Smith on the roster.

Next, the guys jump into the world of baseball by previewing the Chicago White Sox and the Chicago Cubs. With the White Sox, they talk about who should be the team’s ace, how to get over the loss of A.J. Pierzynski, and Adam Dunn. With the Cubs, they discuss the recent trading of Tony Campana, how much to look into the spring training hot start, and Ricky makes a few BOLD predictions.

Finally, the guys talk college basketball. They discuss their game of the week which ended with a thrilling comeback in Austin, Texas between the Sooners and the Longhorns. The guys also talk about Coach K’s “storming the court” comments after the loss against Virginia and Ricky talks about how Gonzaga is NOT the No. 1 team in the nation and should NOT be No. 1 this week.
