NBA Power Rankings: Miami Heat Running Away From The Pack

The Miami Heat’s win streak has reached 23 games, the second longest in NBA history. I don’t know how anyone believes that Miami is not the best team in the NBA.

LeBron James hit the game winner on Monday night against the Celtics, and he makes it look easier every time he does it. His supporting cast are also scoring often, which means it will take a monumental effort to knock off the defending NBA Champions. It is looking more like a one horse race in the Eastern Conference.

The Heat aren’t the only team streaking right now. The Denver Nuggets are riding a 13 game win streak after taking down the defending Western Conference Champion Oklahoma City Thunder. Coach George Karl’s team are looking more like contenders with each win. The Western Conference Playoffs will be tough to predict with Denver entering the conversation along with San Antonio, Oklahoma City, and The Clippers.
