The Pittsburgh Penguins are inching closer to the top of the NHL Power Rankings. With all of the impressive streaks that have occurred in sports in 2013 (Blackhawks games/points scored, Miami Heat win streak, Denver Nuggets win streak) maybe now the world will pay attentions to the Pens. They are riding a 13 game win streak that includes two victories a piece against Boston, Montreal, and Philadelphia.

Sydney Crosby is having another Hall Of Fame resume of  a season, and his teammates are helping the cause. It seems like it is only a matter of time before the Pittsburgh Penguins are standing on top of the NHL mountain.
