The Control Room is back, and they have a lot to cover. The Arizona Diamondbacks recently faced the Atlanta Braves and Justin Upton. Rich Gray and Brett Harmon discuss why Upton needed to change scenery in order to become a superstar. They also ask if the Diamondbacks got equal value in the Upton trade.

The Arizona Cardinals made a few additions in the off season, including Carson Palmer at quarterback. For the first time since the departure of Kurt Warner, there is stability at the position. Brett and Rich dive into Carson Palmer’s expectation. Does he need to be an elite quarterback for the Cardinals to win? They look at the teams schedule and how Arizona will be underdogs in every game they play this year.

The Chicago Bulls and Oklahoma City Thunder have been eliminated from the NBA Playoffs. Rich and Brett discuss Kevin Durant’s performance in the Thunders series against Memphis. Brett also argues that Scott Brooks is over matched by elite NBA coaches. They also look at Derrick Rose not playing a single minute of the postseason, and question his character and motives. The question is asked, who has more pressure on them next year, Kevin Durant or Derrick Rose?
