Hip Hop Thursday: Miami Heat Hold All The “Power”

With just over two seconds left in overtime, you knew the Miami Heat were going to respond. Maybe a Ray Allen jumper or mid range shot from Chris Bosch would fall as time expired.

What I did not expect was Roy Hibbert to be on the bench while LeBron James drove through the lane from the three point line to hit a game winning layup. Pacers coach Frank Vogel lost this game for Indiana, just as much as LeBron threw the proverbial dagger into the young teams heart at the buzzer.

It is inconceivable to have your best defender on the bench with the game on the line. This is a game Indiana had to have. Striking first would benefit the Pacers in the long run, giving them home court advantage.

The Miami Heat now hold all of the “Power” in this series.
