2013 NBA Eastern Conference Finals : Indiana Pacers Learn to Fly

Last years NBA Playoff series between the Indiana Pacers and Miami Heat was just a preview of things to come.

Last night the Pacers evened up the  2013 NBA Eastern Conference Finals with a 99-92 win over Miami. Pacers center Roy Hibbert was the star for the Pacers, going off for 23 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Lance Stephenson also had a big night with 19 points. All five Pacers started scored in double figures.

While the offensive effort from Indiana was impressive, their defense was the difference maker in game 4. Of Indiana’s 49 rebounds, 34 of them were on the defensive boards. The Pacers domination in the paint propelled them to victory.

The Pacers have obviously learned from their experience with Miami in the 2012 playoffs. The young team continues to “Learn to Fly” as this team is showing signs of being able to take down the defending NBA Champion Heat.

Game 5 goes down on Thursday night in Miami.
