2013 NBA Playoffs: Examining The Eastern Conference Finals

This week on Fire and Ice Sports, Lesley Snyder joins Matt and Greg to talk NBA Playoffs. Since Lesley is in what Matt sarcastically calls “The Epicenter of Sports,” Indiana, they talk NBA Eastern Conference Finals and how well the Indiana Pacers have played against the Miami Heat.

They also talk to editor Christopher Walder about Toronto’s crack head mayor Rob Ford. That’s right, they talk crack head mayors. They also discuss playoff basketball, diving into the Pacers chances of taking down Miami. They also ask if Miami is in trouble with their play in the paint. Will San Antonio be as tough of a matchup as the Pacers have been for the Heat?

Eric Spoelstra’s coaching ability is another topic. Matt wonders if Spoelstra is capable of making adjustments during the game. Lesley talks about the fines for flops in the Heat/Pacers series. Matt Beyel, the pen behind Thirsty Thursday, also makes an appearance on the show.

Other topics include:

  • The ShopRite LPGA Classic tees off this week in our backyard.
  • Lesley Snyder with an exclusive on the Rutgers AD situation,
  • Greg’s Kings and Matt and Tadhg’s Blackhawks advance in the NHL Playoffs
  • And More!
