2013 College World Series: Opening Ceremony Kicks Off Tonight


 

The 2013 College World Series Opening Ceremony will take place tonight at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha. There will be several events for fans to take part in, many of them free of charge.

Team practices are open to the public with team autograph sessions taking place 30 minutes after. The Oregon State Beavers start things off with practive at 9 AM Central with autographs at 10:30.

O.A.R. will perform live at The Road To Omaha Jam at 6pm in the parking lot outside of the stadium. The concert will be followed by The Opening Ceremonies inside. ESPN Baseball Analyst Orel Hershiser will lead the festivities. All of the teams will walk around the stadium and a tribute video to each teams journey to Omaha will be played on the jumbo tron.

As a native of Omaha, I can assure you that it is well worth coming out to the ball park for good food and good times. Plenty of beverages, food, and vendors will give you plenty to do throughout the day. Hope to see you tomorrow at TD Ameritrade Park.
