This past weekend, Dirk Nowitzki said publicly that he doesn’t see the point in attempting to rid of flopping.

According to The Dallas Morning News, Nowitzki said:

“We’re never going to get rid of it. But you got to limit it. It’s part of sports. It’s part of winning. Some people are smart and do a little extra thing to kind of sell the call. To me, that’s part of sports.”

Mark Weber of the Onside Kick gives you his thoughts and opinions about Dirk’s comments and flopping as a whole. He talks about how flopping should have no part of the game in the NBA and that it is a form of cheating. Mar even throws NBA superstar LeBron James under the bus with his comments.

Tell us what you think down below. Will flopping ever be eliminated from the game of basketball? Was Dirk in the right to make these comments regarding flopping?
