Last year, the San Diego Chargers finished their season with a 7-9 overall record and ended up firing their head coach Norv Turner. Mike McCoy is now the head coach of the Chargers and things might be looking up for them in 2013. They still have Philip Rivers at quarterback and have added players like Danny Woodhead, D.J. Fluker, Manti Te’o, and Dwight Freeney.

Ricky Widmer of The Onside Kick welcomes staff writer from Boltbeat.com Jake Hefner on the show to talk about the San Diego Chargers coming into the 2013 season. Ricky and Jake talk about Philip Rivers fitting into Mike McCoy’s new offensive, Ryan Matthews staying healthy, Danny Woodhead’s role on the team, how Manti Te’o will do in 2013, and who the most overlooked player on the team is this offseason.

Tell us what you think down below. How successful will the San Diego Chargers be in 2013? Can Philip Rivers fit into Mike McCoy’s new offensive system? What can Charger fans expect from Manti Te’o?
