On this week’s The Onside Kick Mark talks about the first preseason game for the Chicago Bears. They faced the Carolina Panthers and show some signs of things to come. The defense looked very impressive and the offense got off to a slow start. Mark gives his thoughts on the most impressive players of the game and even a couple of players who shouldn’t last too long on the roster.

The main part of the podcast is focused on the AFC South preview. Mark talks about who should win the division and which teams will be looking for a new quarterback after during the 2014 offseason. This was a fairly competitive division between the top two teams but will the Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans still be at the top or will one of these playoff teams fall off? Mark gives his thoughts on which team will win the division and if the other will even be in the playoffs.

The first week of the preseason is closing up and we are even closer to the regular season. Stay tuned into The Onside Kick for all you need to know about the NFL.
